V piatok 29. júna 2012 sme v Evanjelickom gymnáziu oficiálne ukončili školský rok 2011/2012. Slávnosť začala Bohoslužbami v evanjelickom kostole. Kázeň predniesla školská spirituálka Jana Bosáková:
... Lukáš 13:6-9: A povedal toto podobenstvo: Ktosi mal figovník zasadený vo vinici. A prišiel hľadať ovocie na ňom, ale nenašiel. Povedal teda vinohradníkovi: Ajhľa, už tri roky prichádzam a hľadám ovocie na tomto figovníku, a nič nenachádzam. Vytni ho! Načo aj tú zem kazí! On mu však riekol: Pane, ponechaj ho ešte za rok, až ho okopem a pohnojím, či by azda potom nepriniesol ovocie. Ak nie, vytneš ho.
Figovník v podobenstve v podstate ani nič také zlé nerobil. On len nemal ovocie. Teda bol akýsi čudný, lebo ak by bol v poriadku, rástli by na ňom figy. Ale nerástli a tak majiteľ skonštatoval, že len zbytočne kazí zem a treba sa ho zbaviť. Lenže vinohradník prosil ešte o jednu šancu. Aj nám trvá táto šanca, tento čas milosti, kedy môžeme hľadať Boha, kedy môžeme hľadať Ježiša ...
Nasledovalo stručné vyhodnotenie uplynulého školského roku riaditeľkou Helenou Pašiakovou. Potom boli knižnými darmi a diplomami ocenení žiaci, ktorí dosiahli výborné študijné výsledky, aktívne sa zapájali do školských a mimoškolských aktivít a reprezentovali školu v rôznych odvetviach. Ocenenia odovzdávala Helena Pašiaková so zástupkyňou Ľubomírou Petricovovu.
Učiteľ aplikovanej ekonómie Ladislav Čajko odovzdal diplomy členom školskej spoločnosti égalité, ktorí sa pričinili o úspešné fungovanie firmy v rámci školy aj mimo nej a pani Debnárová ocenila tri najlepšie súťažiace v písaní na počítači.
Po ukončení slávnosti v kostole nasledoval presun do školy, kde v triedach triedni učitelia odovzdali vysvedčenia a udelili prípadné pochvaly/pokarhania svojim žiakom.
Už si všetci želáme, aby letné prázdniny uplynuli čo najskôr :-) a mohli sme sa všetci stretnúť na otvorení nového školského roku 2. septembra 2012 o 15:00 v evanjelickom kostole.

School year 20112012 is over
On Friday, June 29, 2012, we, at Lutheran High School, have officially closed the school year 2011/2012. The ceremony began with the church services in the Lutheran church. A sermon was presented by the school spiritual Jana Bosáková:
... Luke 13:6-9: And He began telling this parable: A man had a fig tree which had been planted in his vineyard and he came looking for fruit on it and did not find any. And he said to the vineyard-keeper: Behold, for three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree without finding any. Cut it down! Why does it even use up the ground? And he answered and said to him: Let it alone, sir, for this year too, until I dig around it and put in fertilizer and if it bears fruit next year, fine but if not, cut it down.
A fig tree in the parable has done nothing wrong. It just did not have fruit. Hence it was somehow curious, because if it was okay the figs would grow on it. But they did not and the owner stated that it only unnecessarily degrades the land and must get rid of it. But the winemaker still begged for another chance. Also for us is lasting this chance, this time of grace, when we can seek the Lord, when we can seek the Jesus ...
A brief evaluation of the past school year by the principal Helena Pašiaková followed. Then the pupils who have achieved excellent study results, actively involved in the school and extracurricular activities and represented the school in various areas, were awarded the diplomas and book gifts. The awards were given by Helena Pašiaková and viceprincipal Ľubomíra Petricová.
A teacher of Applied Economics Ladislav Čajko handed the diplomas the member of the school company égalité, who contributed to the successful operation of the firm within and beyond the school. At the end Ms Debnárová awarded the three best competitors in typing on PC.
After the church ceremony a transfer to a school followed, where the class teachers in the classrooms handed the certificates, praises/admonishments their students.
We already wish the summer holidays pass as soon as possible :-) that we all could meet at the opening of the new school year on September 2, 2012, at 15:00 in the Lutheran church.
