Presentation of high schools in Revúca
Our students Andrej Lacko and Ester Magyarová accompanied by the teachers, Viera Hlásková and Courtney Everett, again took part in the presentation of high schools, this time in Revúca.
We were surprised by the very kind behaviour of the organisers, who cared about pleasant conditions for the representatives of the schools. After a short speech from one of the organisers, three hours of presenting and talking were awaiting for us. Some schools showed a practice presentation, too. All this should help to make the students more familiar with the conditions of the schools.
We were talking about the good level of English taught at our school, the high number of afternoon activities and the big range of seminars. At the end of the meeting, the teachers could talk behind the round table about the situation of unemployment in this region, and about producing new working power.

Burza stredných škôl v Revúcej
Naši žiaci Ester Magyarová a Andrej Lacko spolu s učiteľkami Vierou Hláskovou a Courtney Everett znova reprezentovali našu školu na burze stredných škôl, tentoraz v Revúcej.
Prekvapil nás milý a ústretový prístup usporiadateľov, ktorí sa starali o to, aby prezentujúci mali čo najlepšie podmienky na reprezentáciu školy.
Po krátkom príhovore organizátorov nasledovali tri hodiny prezentácii, kde si mohli žiaci základných škôl vypočuť ponuky jednotlivých škôl. Nechýbala ani praktická ukážka, ktorá im mohla ešte viac priblížiť podmienky školy.
My sme opäť prezentovali vyučovanie v angličtine, množstvo popoludňajších aktivít či pestrú ponuku seminárov. Ku koncu stretnutia sa ešte učitelia zhromaždili za okrúhlym stolom, aby diskutovali o situácii na trhu práce v regióne.
